Aconnect – What to Expect on the Installation Day

When you signed up for Aconnect services, we have made an appointment time to come and install the equipment. The installer will call about a week before the installation day to confirm the date. They will also call roughly an hour before they arrive. If you can’t be there on the day, make sure you authorize a trusted adult over the age of 18 to allow the installer to access your premises and to decide the location of the equipment. Also make sure you ask for your installer’s credentials before letting him start work. Discuss the best place for the equipment with the installer. There are some places we may not be able to the equipment due to safety or other issues.

Installations approximately take two hours, but if you don’t have a fiber optic connection we need to get one to your building. If we have to do this allow approximately four hours. A hole will needed to be drilled so that the cable feed through to the inside, there might be some noise and dust, but we will clean it up afterwards.
